Call It Upset Saturday!

In case you have been trapped inside your room that has no television, radio, cell phone or window...the underdogs all won on Saturday.

The Cardinals of Arizona thumped the Panthers from Carolina, 33-13. Larry Fitzgerald has his way with the Panthers secondary making spectacular catch after spectacular catch. The defense of Arizona, that I "poo-pooed" in my last blog entry forced a mind boggling five interceptions by Jake Delhomme. The upset story of the year, I guess you can call them the Cinderella or George Mason of the NFL playoffs. They now await the victor of Sunday's epic show down of the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants.

The Ravens also took care of business and beat the Tennessee Titans 13-10 on a field goal by Matt Stover in the last minute of the game. The Defense came to play of the Ravens, (what else is new) and Ray Lewis put a hurting on plenty of Titans. The Ravens are now in the same boat as the Cardinals as they were under dogs and on the road for both of their games in which they have come out on top. They now wait for the winner of the San Diego Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers.
