Forget the Cowboys, How About Them Rays!

From worst to first, from coach to first class, from the bottom to the top, the Rays are off to their first ever World Series as they have beaten the Boston Red Sox in game seven of the ALCS.

This was the team that no one believed in, everyone was counting down the days till the team collapsed. "They are hot now, but this is just a fluke and when it comes down to it they will fall apart." Well the team that has ruled the AL East all year is four games away from a World Series Championship.

Matt Garza was awarded the ALCS MVP as he notched two wins none bigger in his entire life that the game seven performance of a life time. Garza went 110+ pitches and seven tremendous innings striking out nine Red Sox batters.

The young kids who were suppose to die out from inexperience and should not have even been in the discussion for a playoff birth are now kings of the American League. Joe Maddon has proved that thinking outside the box is allowed and can be equally as successful.

So now the Rays and the Phillies will square off on the biggest stage of all, the fight for the World Series. The first to four wins. Carlos Pena vs. Ryan Howard. Scott Kazmir vs. Cole Hamels. Jimmy Rollins vs. Evan Longoria.

St. Petersburgh will be the site of the first ever World Series game in Tampa Bay Devil and Rays history. In three days the most important innings either of these teams will ever play will begin and someone will be crowned. Let the games begin...
