Tim McCarver : Manny's Act's - "Despicable"

Fox broadcaster and long time baseball analyst Tim McCarver has spoken out about the often outrageous Manny Ramirez. McCarver said what Ramirez did to get out of Boston was despicable and basically threw Ramirez totally under the bus.

"It's extraordinary -- the dichotomy between what he was in Boston and what he is in Los Angeles," McCarver said, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I mean, talk about wearing out your welcome in a town, and it was a long welcome with the Red Sox. But some of the things he did were simply despicable, despicable -- like not playing, refusing to play. Forgetting what knee to limp on. And now it's washed, it's gone."

Manny does seem to be a different player with the Dodgers, we see him laughing and playing hard. We also see him hitting like the real Manny does. Ramirez has lead the Dodgers in the playoffs offensively smacking homeruns and even running the bases like a hungry baseball player. In game 4 of the NLDS we saw Manny score on a base hit all the way from first base, something we have not seen in about a decade out of Manny.

And how great would it be to see Manny in the World Series go up against the Boston Red Sox and Manny hit .400 with 4 home runs and a couple of game winners. One can only dream...

Too bad the Red Sox wont make the World Series, The Rays will face the Dodgers.
